Children's Ministry

Nursery

Nursery care is available during both morning (through age 2) and evening (through age 3) worship services and Sunday School (also through age 2). Nursery care is also available during many other church activities.

Pre-school Sunday School

Pre-schoolers ages 2 through 5 are treated to games, Bible stories, and crafts under the watchful eye of their Sunday School teachers. Even at this early age, we strive to lay a firm foundation of Biblical truth upon which a saving knowledge of Christ can be built, and that means trained adults teaching well-organized classes. Join us as we play and learn about Jesus!

Children's Church

Junior Church ministers to children ages 3-5 during Sunday morning worship services. If you are interested in serving as a Children's Church teacher, please call Matt Kile at 629-8701.

Bible Club

Bible Club is a Christian club open to children, grades 1 to 5. Bible Club meets during the school year on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. Children receive instruction from the Bible and are encouraged to memorize Scripture weekly. They also enjoy games and other activities. For more information, call Tony Pastega at 503-524-7000.

Elementary Sunday School

Kindergarten through 6th Grade kids will learn and grow in Sunday School at SBC as their adult leaders teach them valuable Biblical truths. These crucial years are when most kids begin to comprehend the Gospel message; Sunday School teachers who love the Lord will reinforce God's plan of salvation for each child. Come help us sing about Jesus, make crafts, and learn about a God of justice and love!

Summer Kid's Camps

During the summer, incoming kindergarten through 5th grade kids attend a summer camp tailored to them. There's fun, crafts and great Bible teaching for all the kids! For more information, call Adam Ferguson at 503-524-7000.
