College / Young Adults Ministry

At the Cross Ministries is a ministry for College Students and Young Adults, ages 18-30. Each week we host several different events where students and young people under the age of 30, whether married or single, gather for times of Bible study, worship, and fellowship. At the Cross Ministries meets weekly for small group Bible Studies in various homes, and once a month all together at the church on the last Thursday of the month from 7-9 pm. The small group Bible Studies are open and welcoming to new people to join at any time. Please contact Bill Brown or Taylor Wilson at 503.524.7000 to be connected to a group.

College/Young Adults Sunday School

At the Cross Ministries also meets at 10 am Sundays in Room 221 for Sunday School. College Students and Young Adults are invited to join us for a time of fellowship and teaching. Come hungry for the Word and for a hearty breakfast. Hope to see you there!

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

There are also many exciting opportunities to serve within the ministry. Areas of service include event planning, worship, breakfast, set-up/tear-down, and pretty much anything else you can think of.

College/Young Adult Retreat 2010

What is the will of God? We often think of God's will as a secret, hidden thing he expects us to decipher. The truth is that Scripture reveals much to us about God’s will for our lives. Come hang out, unplug from your crazy schedule, and refocus your affections on Jesus as we explore what the Bible says about God’s will for you. The retreat is August 20-22 at Macleay Christian Rereat.
