4th of July Community Picnic
July 4th - 10 am
Come help us kick-off Summertime at Southwest with an old-fashioned patriotic community picnic following our Outdoor Morning Service.
Includes a free picnic lunch, Ye Olde Fashioned Picnic Games, Bingo (with prizes!), and activities for everyone in
the family, including a cooking contest. To sign up to participate in this year’s cooking

Outdoor Sunday Evenings
Every Sunday evening from July 11 - August 29 our weekly evening service moves outdoors to the north lawn. It's a tradition that has brought together hundreds of Murrayhill friends since 1997. Each night will feature activities for all ages beginning at 5:30 pm, free dinner, live music, positive messages, and life stories.
Nursery care is provided through age 2. Seating is provided, or bring your own blanket and/or chairs.

John Henderson joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC) in 1978. John continues to serve as Staff & Leader Development Coordinator
for Eastern Europe and Russia, overseeing and training future ministry leaders.

Car Show V
We invite you to our 5th annual Classic Car Show where you will see a wide variety of vehicles on display: Classics, Imports,
Rods, Trucks, Motorcycles, Special Interest, etc.
Spectators at the show will be given an opportunity to vote for their favorite vehicle
in the show. All vehicles will be available for viewing beginning at 4 pm. Spectator voting ends at 5:45 pm. The show will conclude with
an awards ceremony.
To participate in the Car Show, register online or print and mail the registration form and mail it to the church at 14605 SW Weir
Road, Beaverton, OR 97007. Phone registration is also available by calling 503.524.7000. Once registered you will receive a confirmation letter in the mail
prior to the event with a full event schedule and your free Car Show V magnet.

Guest Speaker, Luis Palau

Special Guest, Chaplain Al Egg
We are please to again welcome Al Egg, chaplain for the Portland Trailblazer's NBA Basketball team as our Outdoor Sunday Evening

Scott Frost, Wide Receivers Coach for the Univeristy of Oregon and former NFL defensive back with the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns,

Oregon State Beavers Night
Oregon State University Coach Gary Beck will be the evening's guest speaker. Coach Beck began his coaching career in
1976 as the junior varsity baseball coach at Oregon State University and is respected throughout Oregon for his coaching of high school
athletes in football, basketball, baseball and golf. Coach Beck is a graduate of Oregon State earning a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education

First Responders Night
Come join us as we honor our community’s
First Responders. Enjoy a free BBQ dinner as you talk with Police Officers, Firefighters, EMT's, Dispatchers and Chaplains.
Emergency reponse vehicles will be on display: Fire Trucks, Police Cars, Ambulances,
and look for Life Flight to land at 5:30 pm right on our field! Special guests include: Beaverton Police Chief Geoff Spalding, Beaverton Police Chaplain Paul Olds, and Brian Sakultarawattn will share his story of physical survival and spiritual growth following an industrial accident that left him severely burned.

Youth Sports - Thursdays, 2-3:30 pm

Every Thursday Middle School and High School students are welcome to join us for weekly sports time.
We'll usually play basketball, but there is also Ulimtimate Frisbee, Frisbee golf, and maybe even Bunko!
Water Wednesdays - 1-3 pm (New time!)
Each Wednesday in August
Is the summer getting too hot for the kids? Come join us in the field as we cool down with Water Wednesdays! FREE and open to children in the community.
