SBC offers many opporunities for you to serve the church body through prayer. If you would like more information about one or more of the prayer ministries listed below, please contact the church office at 503-524-7000.

Prayer Chain

If you would like to be linked up to the Prayer Chain in order to serve the church body through prayer please contact the church office. Contact Linda Gemmill 524-7000 with praises/requests or to join the e-mail or phone chain.

24-7 Prayer Room

Many are experiencing the joy and blessing of spending an hour in communion with God uninterrupted by phone, kids, or household chores. Contact: Jeff Rathjen 649-4777.

Coffee Corner Prayer

We meet Monday-Friday, 6:30-7:15 am at the Coffee Corner for corporate prayer. All are invited and complimentary coffee is served. Contact: Jeff Rathjen 649-4777.

Mens' Prayer Breakfast

If you are new to prayer or a veteran, join us for breakfast, fellowship, and a time to pray for our country and congregation. Meets bi-monthly on Saturdays, 7-9 am. Watch announcements for dates and times. Contact: Allan Bushey 520-0203.

Men's Play & Pray Basketball - MWF 4:45 am

Basketball followed by prayer. Contact: Kelly Adams 624-7330.

Ladies' Evening Prayer & Praise

Meets the second Monday of every month, 7 pm at the home of Sandra Failmezger. Contact: Sandra 644-5774.

Evenings of Prayer & Praise

A few times each year we gather together for a time of prayer and worship. Watch announcements for upcoming dates. Contact: Linda Gemmill 524-7000.

Sunday Morning Prayer Team

Join us for one of these prayer times Sunday morning in Room 280 at 7:30-7:50 am; 9-9:20 am, and also 11-11:20 am. Contact: Linda Gemmill 524-7000.

Thursday Morning Prayer Meeting

Join us every Thursday morning from 6:30-7:15 am for prayer in the coffee corner.

Tuesday Morning Men's Prayer

Men's Prayer Fellowship consists of men who collectively work at prayer for the promotion and protection of the cause of Christ through Southwest Bible Church (Rom. 15:30; Col. 4:2). Men commit to pray weekly for specific areas. Prayer updates and requests are mailed periodically to encourage accountability and to stimulate further prayer. Join us for prayer in the coffee corner Tuesday mornings, 6-6:30 am.
