A native Oregonian, Dave has been part of Southwest Bible Church staff for more than 10 years. Dave oversees the business administrative operations of the church and coordinates the adult Sunday School program of quarterly classes. He also facilitates the ministry of Downtown Bible Class, gives direction to Southwest's radio ministry, and preaches at Sunday morning services when needed. "I like the variety in my role and working with a godly staff," says Dave.

Dave received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Portland State University and his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Multnomah Biblical Seminary. Dave started attending Southwest in 1974, shortly after his conversion.

Dave enjoys reading Kings and Chronicles from the Old Testament and considers Romans his favorite New Testament book. Dave and wife Sally have been married more than 29 years, and they have two children, Gabe and Amy.
