As Pastor of Student Ministries, Mike oversees the middle school, high school and college ministries at Southwest Bible Church. "I really love the privilege of being courtside when God changes someone's heart," says Mike, who has been a member of the staff at Southwest since 1999.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, and he holds a Master of Divinity from Multnomah Biblical Seminary, located in Portland, Oregon.

In college, Mike began two relationships that would change his life forever. During his freshman year, Mike put his faith in Christ and began his Christian journey. And in his sophomore year, Mike began dating his future wife, Jill.

Mike and Jill have been married for more than 10 years and have three children: Caleb, Ellie and Owen.
