Student Ministry

Junior High: 6th-8th Grade

Our goal is to help the Junior High kids know, grow and show. We want them to know the elementary principles found in God's Word to read God's word and love it. We want them to grow in their faith and maturity. We want the youth to have a dynamic personal relationship with their creator. And we want them to show with their lives that they understand what it means to be a child of God and be able to apply His truths in everything they do. Junior High ministry has four main components:

Special Events - Special events are designed to present the gospel clearly in a comfortable environment and encourage the participants to bring friends.

IMPACT - IMPACT is our monthly youth event that meets on a Monday night at 7 pm. Each week a theme or specific game the focus in addition to devotional time. Snacks are provided.

Senior High: 9th-12th Grade

Our Senior High Ministry exists to worship God with our lives, minister where there is need, evangelize those who are lost, enjoy the fellowship of other believers, and encourage each other to continue to grow in the Lord. We accomplish these goals through four main activities:

High Definition
Sundays 9:50-10:50 pm Room 223
High Definition presents students with a friendly, fun, challenging and exciting atmosphere. This morning program shatters the "church is boring" stereotype and helps students celebrate life. Every Sunday features a message that challenges students towards spiritual maturity. Different speakers will be covering different topics and book studies throughout the year.

Fusion Groups
Wednesdays 7-9 pm Various Host Homes
Meets Wednesdays, 7-9 pm at various host homes. These small groups meet on the two Wednesdays when there is no garage. They are more than just Bible studies. These are gender specific groups that are encouraged to study, serve and grow together. Each group has 10-20 students and 2-3 staff.

The Garage
Every Fourth Wednesday 7-9 pm Blackbird Farms
After 2 weeks of Fusion Groups, the students (and the staff) are ready to gather together. For one Wednesday a month, The Garage provides an evening of worship, student testimony, fun, food, games and catching up with friends from other schools. This event is a great outreach opportunity for students looking to introduce their friends to an honest Christian community. The gospel will always be presented.

The University of Student Servant Leadership
Different Times & Different Places
The U.S.S.L. is best described as a student think-tank with hands. Any student can apply to receive training and be equipped and resourced to accomplish the ministry that God is putting on their hearts.

Our ministry is designed with the goal to assist parents in impacting their high school son or daughter with the life transforming truths of the gospel. It is important to remember that our programs are simply the tools that we have prayerfully implemented to help us accomplish our purpose.

College Students

If you are a university student, be sure to check out the exciting college ministry. Small group Bible studies are a key part of the college ministry and there are usually several studies going throughout the week.
