Southwest Bible Church offers children and adult Sunday School classes. Several adult classes are offered each quarter, including Essential Christianity which introduces Southwest Bible Church and the essentials of Christianity to those who are new to the church.

    Where can we find Truth? How does the Bible answer life’s toughest questions? Come to eC and find out. Each week we serve a complimentary continental breakfast while Scott Gilchrist explains the essentials of Christianity. Questions are encouraged; if you want to know more about Christianity or about this church, this is the place.

    Understanding the Times: 1950-2008

    We will be looking at the ideas and philosophies that have shaped our culture and how they have expressed themselves in music and literature, evaluating them from a biblical perspective. Special emphasis will be placed on popular music of this period and how it reflects and influences our time.

    Welcome to Eternity: The Why, What, When, Where, Who and How of Heaven and Hell.  From the New Age Movement’s claims of reincarnation to those within professing Christendom teaching purgatory or annihilationism, today we live in a world where very few clear answers are given about the future. But God has given us clear instruction about eternity in His Word. Few things give us more love for both Christ and the unsaved then a Biblical understanding of eternity. You're invited!

    Fundamentals of the Faith

    This class is an excellent follow-up up to Pastor Scott’s eC class because you get to study the foundations of our faith yourself at home. People who recognize the value of personal Bible study appreciate the homework in this class the most. The more we understand the treasures we have in Christ, the greater the power of the Spirit will be in us. So if you are interested in a dynamic personal growth in your faith, wisdom, confidence, love and joy in the Lord, come and “dig in” with us!

    The Point: 18-20somethings

    The Bible IS relevant. Come join us for breakfast as we look not only at how the Bible applies to what we believe, but also how it applies to how we live. Bring your Bible, bring a friend, bring an appetite and bring questions. We are currently enjoying Rod Powell's class on Understanding the Times (see description above). See ya there!
