The book of Esther is unique in many ways. It is one of the only books in the Bible named for a woman and one of the only books without a mention of prayer or God. But the same God who allowed baby Moses to holler just loud enough that Pharaoh’s daughter noticed the little basket by the Nile—and altered the lives of millions through Moses—is busy behind the scenes of Esther. Our Romans 8:28 God is the great Orchestrator, even when He seems far away. The studies in Esther include chapters titled “Mission Impossible” and “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner.”
